Rail Industry Specialist

**Role Overview**
2XM Recruit is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team in the thriving Rail industry. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out Locomotive components overhaul and re-builds.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Completing maintenance request forms and ensuring accurate documentation
- Carrying out component overhaul, maintenance, and repair work
- Inspecting and testing components to ensure high-quality standards
- Fault finding and re-building components to meet client requirements
- Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed
**Requirements**
- Trade qualified – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with delicate components
- Previous experience with fault diagnostics, maintaining components, and re-building them
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Police Clearance
- Ability to work in a busy workshop environment with minimal supervision
