About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director – Project & Program Management (P&PM) based in Brisbane.

This key role will lead the overall project management for rail projects, ensuring the QLD team works in a coordinated way to achieve successful project outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinates the QLD project team and works to provide strategic leadership and guidance as part of the QLD leadership team.
  • Lead the project management for the overarching P&PM function and ensures this is consistent with the requirements of the different projects.
  • Works with the Project Director to deliver timely and accurate reporting of project health to the customer.
  • Ensures strategic decisions from the customer are translated into the relevant project delivery strategy.

Requirements

  • Significant project management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering small to medium-sized rail projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing risks across projects and programs, including knowledge of risk management concepts and tools.
  • Sound understanding of major rail infrastructure projects.
