This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Principal Rail Safety Assurance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing rail safety inputs to project design and delivery requirements, reviewing project safety documentation, and responding to stakeholder requests for rail safety advice.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with rail safety national law regulations.
- Develop and maintain safety interface arrangements through collaboration with other rail transport operators.
- Review the effectiveness of safety interface arrangements to ensure safe railway operations.
- Conduct assurance activities to identify project and contractor compliance with rail safety national law requirements.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Rail Safety National Law.
- Knowledge of the 29 elements of a Safety Management System required by Rail Safety National Law Regulations.
- Rail Safety Management experience.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- A high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
- A starting salary of $146,240 plus 12.75% superannuation.
