Key Responsibilities:- Design and Planning: Develop HV design packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications and integration requirements.
- Compliance and Standards: Adhere to relevant Australian Standards and industry practices for HV systems, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute engineering strategy, identifying new project opportunities and technological advancements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on emerging technologies, offer technical expertise to teams, and ensure the feasibility and sustainability of engineering solutions.
- Documentation: Manage and produce all required engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and currency throughout project lifecycles.
- Consultant Engagement: Manage consultant relationships and scopes to deliver design, reports, and reviews of engineering and commissioning work streams.
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in HV package design and implementation. You will also have experience in renewable energy solutions, including PV design and engineering, and be proficient in electrical engineering software such as Auto CAD, PSCAD, and ETAP.
You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand standards for electrical systems and be familiar with industry-standard power systems and renewable energy software.
