This is a senior leadership role at Gentrack Ltd (Global) where you will oversee the engineering teams and drive innovation. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for a leader who can help shape the engineering practice.

The role involves leading the Australian engineering and delivery managers, as well as other key senior roles, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and services to customers. You will work closely with the Heads of Customer Success and Project Delivery to understand customer needs and challenges, and use this information to drive innovation within the engineering organization.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Leading the AU engineering and delivery managers, as well as other key senior roles as required
  • Understanding and measuring performance metrics and delivering ongoing improvements
  • Contributing to the engineering practice, driving ongoing improvement
  • Understanding emerging technology and working to minimize its impact on delivery engineering and customers
  • Working with other senior staff and leaders to drive innovation across APAC
  • Fostering a team environment, creating high-performing teams
  • As a member of the Australian senior leadership team, working on initiatives to uplift and scale the Australian business
  • Looking to increase efficiencies in the engineering practice and drive improvements in customer profitability
  • Creating transparency into engineering performance, monitoring and reporting on key metrics
  • Working with other senior leaders to transfer knowledge to the engineering teams and understand the technology roadmap to prepare delivery engineering for adoption of new products and features
  • Guiding and supporting the AU engineering and delivery managers to ensure the delivery of engineering services securely
  • Working with PMO, Engineering and Delivery Managers and Customer Success to manage resource supply and demand
  • Working to advance security and automation in the engineering practice
  • Fostering the evolution of the delivery engineering team culture in a growing organization
  • Driving change within the development organization and fostering a positive culture of continuous improvement
  • Creating an inclusive and diverse environment where people can do their best work
  • Driving individual growth through recognition, opportunities, and incentives
  • Assisting and supporting your team's support service as part of the escalation/de-escalation processes
  • Recognizing gaps in our service delivery and proposing and supporting changes to address
  • Managing and prioritizing customer requests in an effective and sustained manner that builds and strengthens customer relationships
  • To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company
  • Take reasonable care of your own and other people's Health & Safety in the workplace
  • In addition to this, you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your direct line leader
