About the Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee farm operations in Victoria. This role involves leading a team and driving operational excellence, focusing on animal welfare, productivity, quality, and environmental standards.

As a Farm Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and operational metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence in a professional environment.
  • Driving initiatives to enhance animal welfare, productivity, and quality, while adhering to relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Managing bird growing requirements using advanced shed management techniques to optimize farm performance.
  • Maintaining high standards of farm presentation and appearance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing broiler farm operations.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a track record of achieving operational excellence.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to farm management, prioritizing SHEQ standards and promoting a positive WHS culture.
  • Physical fitness to perform farm duties, supported by a pre-employment functional assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
  • The right to work in Australia.
