Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day farm operations in Regional Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our state-of-the-art broiler bird farms, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the farm, including monitoring and reporting on KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and environmental practices.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.

Requirements

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing farm operations, with a focus on animal welfare, productivity, and environmental practices.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
