Farm Management Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Farm Management Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising farm performance by tailoring solutions to fit each customer's needs.

You will apply your farm management expertise through data-driven tools and regular in-field visits, building long-term relationships with farmers and Lely Centres.

Your key responsibilities will include training and certifying FMS Advisors, providing direct support to customers during the transition from conventional milking to robotics, and coaching and mentoring advisors to build long-term capability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in dairy farming or agricultural studies.
  • A strong understanding of dairy farm operations and the ability to interpret farm data.
  • Experience with robotic/automated dairy equipment is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to work effectively with farmers and advisors alike.
  • The willingness and ability to travel regularly, locally, interstate, and overseas.
  • Organised, customer-focused, and proactive problem-solving skills.
