About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Farm Manager to oversee operations on our Grandview Farm in Regional Victoria – Moolort area approximately 25kms from Maryborough (Post Code 3465)

As a Farm Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art, tunnel-ventilated broiler bird farms. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Leading, training, and motivating a team of 6–8 staff to achieve excellence in a professional and commercial environment.
  • Driving continuous improvement in animal welfare, productivity, quality, and environmental practices.
  • Adhering to relevant legislation and company policies, including biosecurity, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Building strong working relationships with company representatives and external stakeholders.
  • Managing bird growing requirements using advanced shed management techniques.
  • Ensuring farm presentation and standards remain at the highest level.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need :

  • Experience managing broiler farm operations.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a proven track record of achieving operational excellence.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach to farm management.
  • High regard for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, promoting a positive WHS culture.
  • Physical fitness to perform farm duties, supported by a pre-employment functional assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
  • The right to work in Australia.
