Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for problem-solving? We're seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team and drive success in our financial operations.

As a Payroll Manager, you will oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing for a large team. You will also supervise and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Payroll Operations: Manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of payroll specialists, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with tax laws, wage and hour laws, and benefits administration.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and systems to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate and review payroll reports, analyze payroll data, and provide insights to senior management.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of comprehensive experience in end-to-end payroll management, with a deep understanding of Australian payroll systems.
  • Proven expertise in managing monthly payroll processes, including PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Workers Compensation calculations and obligations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process and system improvements, including technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with payroll journals, reconciliations, and familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
