
Healthcare Medication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective preparation and use of medications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducts practice of pharmacy in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and hospital policy and procedures.
- Ensures the safe, efficacious, and cost-effective preparation and use of medications.
- Participates in ongoing evaluations to ensure quality patient care.
- Bachelor s Degree or PharmD in pharmacy.
- Current Licensure in State of Ohio.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy law.
- Dexterity to operate a computer terminal, calculator, and other office equipment; to manipulate fine instruments; and prepare pharmaceutical entities in minute proportions.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with pharmacists, nurses, technical physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient and department records.
- Ability to self-direct to execute responsibilities within a team structure.
- Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
- Competitive hourly rate: $59.41-$71.29.
