Medical Access Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Access Specialist to provide unparalleled experience and support for patients and physicians.

This role involves interacting with patients virtually to assess their clinical needs, evaluating patient medical concerns, and collaborating with the physician's care team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, current licensure to practice registered nursing, and at least three years of recent clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care, or emergency room setting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive population health through clinical access and communication in a call center environment.
  • Assess patient clinical needs and requirements through virtual interactions.
  • Evaluate patient medical concerns and initial screen patient signs and symptoms.
  • Collaborate with the physician's care team and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Facilitate member interaction with resources appropriate for care and well-being.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio

Experience: At least three years of recent clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care, or emergency room setting

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
