Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Education and Resource Officer to join their team. This role will focus on developing engaging and effective resources for people with intellectual disability and those on the autism spectrum.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in developing education for health staff and resources for people with lived experience of intellectual disability and autism. They will be able to apply co-design principles and ways of working to ensure meaningful input from people with intellectual disability and those on the autism spectrum.

The role will involve leading the development of resources, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging and effective resources for people with intellectual disability and those on the autism spectrum
  • Apply co-design principles and ways of working to ensure meaningful input from people with intellectual disability and those on the autism spectrum
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to produce translational outputs
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture promoting a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to driving innovation

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in developing education for health staff and resources for people with lived experience of intellectual disability and autism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team
