Job Title: Senior Education Officer - Special Duties

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Education Officer to join our Reviews, Curriculum, Teaching and Learning team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, with expertise in health and physical education, and a passion for delivering high-quality resources and programs.

About the Role

The Senior Education Officer - Special Duties will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing programs aligned to the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education, with a focus on Respectful Relationships education and child safety programs.
  • Participating in and coordinating a range of projects to develop implementation strategies and timelines.
  • Developing resources and programs that support high-quality practice and partnerships to deliver best outcomes.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and working in collaboration with them to provide high-quality advice within agreed statewide frameworks and processes.
  • Demonstrating a high level of commitment to developing performance and knowledge of teaching, learning, and school improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience and knowledge in delivering programs aligned to the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education, with a focus on Respectful Relationships education and child safety programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, analyze, and interpret data.
  • A strong commitment to developing performance and knowledge of teaching, learning, and school improvement.
