The role of Assistant Educator is responsible for delivering high-quality activities for children in Outside School Hours Care. This involves supervising and supporting children, preparing healthy meals, creating an engaging environment, and building relationships with colleagues, children, families, and school leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily activities that are safe, fun, and carry educational value.
  • Supervise and support children in a safe learning environment.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals for children.
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An engaging personality with strong focus on child safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
  • Child Protection Certificate.
