Childcare Leader Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Childcare Manager to oversee our childcare team in Osborne Park. This part-time leadership position is ideal for someone who has experience managing teams, enjoys working with children, and excels in a supportive, health-focused environment.

About the Role:
  • Supervise children and ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging childcare setting
  • Manage the check-in/check-out process, adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Oversee crèche staff training and development to deliver exceptional care and service
  • Roster and manage staff shifts efficiently
  • Lead team meetings and present updates during regular club sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally
  • Maintain crèche cleanliness and organization
  • E nsure compliance with all childcare regulations and staff qualifications
  • Document incidents and maintain necessary records
  • Develop and implement effective crèche policies and procedures
  • Delegate tasks effectively across the team
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar childcare management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for health, fitness, and delivering positive member experiences
  • Proven ability to manage teams and rosters effectively
  • Experience with customer service and handling complaints
  • Knowledge of childcare compliance, incident protocols, and duty of care
  • Reliable, well-presented, and highly organized
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Availability to work flexible hours aligned with gym operations
  • Full Australian working rights
