Business Analyst Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team in supporting the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design.

The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in facilitating stakeholder workshops, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and managing vendor relationships.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Capital Markets, Calypso, and other execution management systems
  • Contribute to all facets of the project delivery lifecycle from design to transition to operations
  • Undertake critical analysis of current state solutions to identify root causes of problems and develop future state considerations
  • Translate front, middle, and back-office business requirements into functional Calypso requirements
  • Analyse source data to map data to target application including transformation logic
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Operational experience within Collateral, Middle Office, Trade Support / Bookings, Corporate Actions, Settlements & Confirmations, Payments, Reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting, Performance & Attribution, Securities Lending/Securities Finance
  • 7+ years of experience working as a business analyst or Calypso specialist in Capital markets
  • Experience in E2E requirements management lifecycle
  • Proven ability to synthesize detailed information and confidently present to senior stakeholders
  • Proven facilitation skills and able to manage group dynamics that lead to negotiation of successful outcomes
