About the Role:The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employee relations, industrial awards, and relevant legislation. They will be able to manage complex HR cases, including disputes and third-party adjudications. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on complex HR matters, including industrial relations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and legislative compliance.
- Act as a key advisor on employment instruments such as Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and relevant legislation.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Lead HR projects related to organizational culture, succession planning, and enterprise bargaining.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage employee relations, including handling grievances and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and manage workers' compensation cases.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role with significant knowledge of contemporary HR management practices.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, industrial awards, and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR cases, including disputes and third-party adjudications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in policy development and project management.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead, coach, and mentor staff.
- Commitment to ethical behavior and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- A degree in a relevant discipline with at least three years of experience in a similar role.
- A current driver's license.
