About This Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our facilities team as a maintenance support staff member. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities.

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Picking up rubbish and emptying bins regularly
  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping vinyl and tile floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Cleaning windows, tables, walls, and other surfaces to maintain a high standard of hygiene
  • Cleaning toilets and kitchen/wet areas to prevent the spread of illness
  • Locking up classrooms and securing the facility at the end of each day
  • Reporting any damages or faults to the relevant authorities
  • Maintaining awareness of workplace health and safety issues and concerns

This role requires commitment to a church and the ethos of Christian education. A reference from a minister of the church you regularly attend must be provided with your application.
