About the Role

This Facility & Grounds Officer position plays a crucial role in maintaining the health unit's facilities both inside and out. The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks, including rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and grounds upkeep.

Your work will ensure that the facility remains functional, safe and comfortable for staff, patients and visitors. You will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor on a daily basis, and ultimately to the Executive Officer or Director of Nursing.

  • Proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards within the health unit
  • Limited experience in building and grounds maintenance is preferred
