Senior Geotechnical Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior or Associate Geotechnical Engineer to spearhead geotechnical projects in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead geotechnical aspects within project teams, ensuring best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver geotechnical projects, encompassing planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Plan and oversee site investigations, including borehole drilling, in-situ testing (SPT, CPT, pressuremeter, etc.), sampling, and monitoring.
  • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical analyses, such as slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction assessment, and seismic response. Design foundations (shallow and deep), earth retaining structures, ground improvement solutions, and pavements.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, and specifications.
  • Identify geotechnical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Nurture client relationships, attend meetings, and provide expert geotechnical advice and presentations.
  • Mentor and train junior graduate/early career geotechnical engineers and technicians.
  • E nsure all geotechnical activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, software, and methods in geotechnical engineering.
