Principal Geotechnical Specialist

At the forefront of geotechnical engineering, we are seeking a senior or associate engineer to join our project team in Queensland.
The Opportunity- Take on key roles in leading and overseeing geotechnical aspects of projects, ensuring best practices are adhered to throughout the lifecycle.
- Scope and deliver geotechnical projects or components, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Perform thorough geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction assessment, and seismic response.
- Design foundations, earth retaining structures, ground improvement solutions, and pavements.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, and specifications.
- Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork skills, communication expertise, and a willingness to grow and learn.
- Aptitude to deliver results-driven work, meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology (Master's degree preferred).
- Chartered or Professional Engineer status (or eligibility) is highly desirable.
- Approximately 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience, preferably in consulting, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Proven expertise in ground investigation, geotechnical analysis, and design of foundations, earthworks, and retaining structures.
