Job Description

As a professional in animal care, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily care and maintenance of an avian collection. This role requires a strong understanding of bird behavior and biology, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with visitors and staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University degree in Biology, Zoology, or related field
  • 2 years' experience in a professional avian collection
  • Experience with galliformes desirable
  • Interest in artificial incubation of galliformes and other birds
  • Understanding of the biology of galliformes and other birds
  • Expertise in hand raising birds
  • Public speaking experience
  • Familiarity with PC's and competent with Excel and Microsoft Word
