Job Opportunity: Wildlife Rescue and Bird Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Rescue and Bird Rehabilitation Specialist. This role involves caring for injured and orphaned wildlife at Canada's largest wildlife rehabilitation center near Vancouver.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to focus on bird rehabilitation, helping species like songbirds, shorebirds, and waterfowl recover and return to the wild.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for injured and orphaned wildlife in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
  • Assist with feeding, cleaning, and habitat prep to support the recovery of native birds.
  • Help reduce human-wildlife conflict by assisting with the relocation of animals from urban areas to safe, remote habitats.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about wildlife conservation and eager to gain experience in a unique and challenging role.

About the Role:

This year-round program welcomes over 190 volunteers annually and offers a supportive environment where you'll work alongside experienced staff and fellow volunteers from around the world.

This is an entry-level position, requiring no prior experience. However, a passion for wildlife conservation and a willingness to learn are essential.
