Lead Air Freight Operations

We are seeking an experienced and capable leader to manage day-to-day operations of our air freight facility.

  • Deliver daily operational targets and performance metrics
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and processing of air freight shipments
  • Ensure accurate labour allocation to optimise efficiency and control costs
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity and quality
  • Manage compliance with customs regulations and industry best practices
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet client expectations
  • Monitor workflow and adjust resources to meet changing demands
About You

You're a confident and proactive leader who thrives under pressure and keeps a cool head in a dynamic setting. You bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role
  • A strong background in air freight or logistics operations
  • A current forklift licence and hands-on experience in a warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with bonded warehouse compliance and customs procedures
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanning technology
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A safety-first mindset and the ability to lead by example
