About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineering Geologist to join our team in Sydney. As a Graduate Engineering Geologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across Australia, including national-scale transport infrastructure, renewable energy, and multi-level commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance and instruction of senior engineers to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants to deliver projects.
  • Implement all company and project-specific health and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Undertake a variety of geotechnical fieldwork tasks, including site investigations, drilling, sampling, and testing of soils and rocks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results.
  • Understand, uphold, and communicate D&N's Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management system to ensure compliance and excellence.
Requirements
  • A degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • A passion for fieldwork and a commitment to health and safety.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian working rights or a clear pathway to obtaining them.
