Job Opportunity:

Maximizing Fleet Availability

We are seeking a proactive shutdown maintenance planner to lead maintenance scheduling and support equipment reliability across multiple mining sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shutdown Maintenance - Preparation, presentation, and implementation
  • Align planning with labour capacity, tooling, and part availability
  • Coordinate breakdown responses and adjust plans to minimize downtime
  • Lead weekly and daily maintenance planning meetings with site stakeholders
  • Monitor completion of plans using operational reports
  • Close out work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ensure data accuracy

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification; a planning or management degree is highly valued. Otherwise, relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment in a mining environment
  • Strong background in planning and scheduling using CMMS tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of mining operations and equipment reliability drivers
