Job Opportunity: Fleet Management SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Fleet Management Specialist to oversee the operations of our vehicle fleet, ensuring safe and timely transport of goods and passengers.About the Role:
  • Manage procurement, maintenance, and fueling of transport vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their transport needs, provide expert advice on vehicle selection, contractual obligations, and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
  • Plan and implement transportation schedules to guarantee timely and reliable service delivery, meeting the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for safety, environmental sustainability, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular fleet inspections and maintenance checks to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate business records and prepare comprehensive operational reports and statements to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements, leveraging best practices and emerging trends in fleet management.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the automotive or rental industry, with a proven track record of success in fleet management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supervising a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management to drive productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, maintenance standards, and industry best practices relevant to fleet operations, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
