Optimize Mining Fleet Performance

Are you an experienced professional looking to progress in your career? We are seeking a skilled Fleet Management Supervisor to oversee the management of our mining fleet and drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with fleet management systems and a strong background in open-pit mining operations. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the mining fleet to achieve operational goals and Mine Plan objectives using the MineStar system.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and site clients to optimize fleet usage and decision-making.
  • Manage fleet efficiency by minimizing downtime, ensuring 100% compliance with material movement targets, and recording data accurately.
  • Liaise with the maintenance department for timely repairs and ensure all terrain files are up-to-date.
  • Lead a professional, safety-conscious work culture over two-way radio communication.
  • Provide feedback for system enhancements and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with fleet management systems such as MineStar (or similar).
  • At least 1 year of open-pit mining operations experience.
  • Knowledge of mining workplace safety requirements and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic computing skills with a strong focus on analytical abilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • More than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operations (leadership roles are a bonus).
  • Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to present information professionally.
