Fleet Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to oversee the day-to-day activities associated with fleet maintenance and workshop management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Implement robust processes for data capture and processing associated with fleet maintenance, including prime movers, trailers, trucks, refrigeration plants, and material handling equipment.
  • Maintenance Parameters: Manage maintenance parameters for group assets, ensuring optimal performance and extending asset lifespan.
  • Inventory Management: Set up spare parts and inventory management parameters within the system, conducting stocktakes and managing maintenance software data system inputs for accuracy.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review quality of maintenance data input documents and develop fleet and asset management reports to inform business decisions.
  • Staff Training: Train staff on data entry using the fleet maintenance package, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in a workshop and fleet environment.
  • Analytical and Reporting Skills: Well-developed analytical, reporting, and planning skills with high attention to detail.
  • Computer Literacy: High level of computer literacy using Fleet Management software packages.
  • Communication and Time Management: Strong communication, prioritization, time management, and training skills.
  • Purchasing Experience: Previous stores and purchasing experience with parts and local supplier knowledge is highly advantageous.
