Senior Insurance Portfolio Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to drive innovation in our insurance portfolio management.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the organisation's risk planning and management as well as overseeing council's insurance management, including claims. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills and experience in managing complex portfolios.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment. They will also have excellent attention to detail and be able to identify areas for improvement to reduce the number and value of Council's claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic assessment of Council's insurance needs
- Procurement and annual renewal of Council's insurance portfolio
- Effective management of Council's insurance portfolio, including overseeing claims and monitoring performance
- Reporting performance to the Executive Leadership Team
Requirements:
