Senior Bar Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bars, with a focus on driving revenue growth, developing team members, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Establish clear performance goals for team members and provide guidance, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance their performance.
- Implement effective staffing strategies in line with company policies and procedures, working closely with Human Resources.
- Direct daily staffing requirements, plan work assignments, and establish performance expectations that align with business objectives and control expenses related to food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Educate and train all team members on regulatory compliance, quality, and service standards, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through regular communication and coordination with other departments.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or higher qualification in Hotel Management or a related field, along with 4+ years of relevant experience, including management or supervisory roles.
A strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, beers, spirits, and whisky, is essential for creating innovative drinks that exceed customer expectations. Additionally, the ability to recommend pairings and beverages alongside our menus is crucial.
Exceptional customer service skills are required, particularly in a luxury resort environment. A Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is preferred, and at least 2 years of experience in a resort-style bar leadership role is highly desirable.
Candidates must be flexible and able to work various shifts, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays, across a seven-day roster.
