About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our clients, including assessments, interventions, and home modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based clinical services to clients with physical or intellectual disabilities, including assessments, interventions, and home modifications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Occupational Therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of professional development programs for the Occupational Therapy team.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working with clients with physical or intellectual disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support a team of Occupational Therapists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
