About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Big Umbrella. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality therapy services to our clients, particularly those with NDIS plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert therapy and interventions for NDIS participants, focusing on optimizing their personal goals and outcomes.
- Engage and support participants to achieve their goals, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
- Proactively manage your caseload, prioritizing referrals and ensuring timely interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including Home, ADL, and Functional Capacity Assessments, to inform treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed notes and reports, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our team to provide assistive technology and home modifications, enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
- Travel to visit clients in their homes, working from our Norwood office or remotely, with referrals allocated based on your local area.
- Provide training and coaching to other team members, sharing your expertise and supporting their growth and development.
