Professional Accounts Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Professional Accounts Specialist to join our Shared Services team in Hawthorn. As a key member of our AP department, you will be responsible for managing high volume purchase invoices on SAP, coordinating payment due dates, and performing administrative tasks.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 22.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work three full days or four days with fewer hours. You will also have the option to work from home as part of our hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities include:

  • High volume processing of purchase invoices on SAP
  • Managing all queries from various sites and external vendors
  • Coordinate payment due date and generation of payment files for invoices
  • Perform necessary administration tasks associated with the running of the AP department
  • Review reports for potential invoice entry errors or double payments, vendor statement reconciliations, GST input review and vendor master data management
  • Ad hoc AP Administration

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong organisational skills, data entry and analysis capabilities, and the ability to work independently under time pressure. Previous exposure to SAP and/or large ERP systems is highly regarded. Ideally, you are actively seeking part-time hours and are semi-flexible on your days, but Thursday and Friday are a must.
