Indirect Procurement Specialist - IT

Permanent full-time position

Salary Range: $130,000 + superannuation

How you will make an impact

Cabrini Health’s Procurement Team oversees the management of sourcing and purchasing activity across the organisation with established processes to provide efficient access to the goods and services required for our staff to deliver high quality care to patients. The Indirect Procurement Specialist will manage the applicable supply base and lead projects to support operational requirements in the IT category.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with business stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities and work plan, particularly within the IT category.- Engaging with current and potential suppliers to understand the external environment, including technology trends and industry best practice.- Negotiating and arranging the best value goods and services to meet Cabrini’s needs by considering the best mix of cost, quality, functionality and sustainability (environmental, social, and economic) while considering availability, time and effort to source, and costs to manage the supplier.- Conducting a comprehensive commercial assessment of the Indirect/IT category to identify efficiencies and opportunities to deliver value.- Working with the Indirect Category Lead in conjunction with internal stakeholders to validate identified opportunities and develop recommendations for improvement.- Ensuring compliance with Cabrini’s risk and governance framework.

You will bring your extensive procurement knowledge and expertise to our team and identify opportunities to deliver value to the business.

You will also have the following:
- Sound knowledge and proven experience in commercial procurement practices.- Procurement experience within the IT category.- CIPS accreditation (desirable) & health industry experience is an advantage.- Strong commercial acumen.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Self-motivated and able to work independently.- Mature stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand and communicate business requirements.
