The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven Resident Construction Equipment Sales Representative who is passionate about managing and growing customer relationships and sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships in an existing network of customers within the territory
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting for new business
- General marketing, trade shows, and related networking activities
- Accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market, and competitor analysis
- Meet market share expectations and other KPIs provided by Management
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience within the Construction/Earthmoving equipment industry or similar
- Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
- Motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including proficiency in CRM
- Confident, courteous, and professional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously
- A current driver's license
