The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Resident Construction Equipment Sales Representative who is passionate about managing and growing customer relationships and sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships in an existing network of customers within the territory
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting for new business
  • General marketing, trade shows, and related networking activities
  • Accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market, and competitor analysis
  • Meet market share expectations and other KPIs provided by Management

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience within the Construction/Earthmoving equipment industry or similar
  • Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
  • Motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including proficiency in CRM
  • Confident, courteous, and professional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously
  • A current driver's license
