The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Resident Construction Equipment Sales Professional to join our team in the Goulburn Valley region in Victoria. The key focus is to promote the sales of the Hitachi and Bell Construction Equipment range across the North-east region of Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with existing customers within the territory, fostering strong partnerships and growing sales opportunities.
  • Actively seek out new sales prospects, leveraging daily cold calling and prospecting efforts to drive business growth.
  • Promote the sales of Hitachi and Bell Construction Equipment, highlighting the benefits and value proposition to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Victorian Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, driving market share growth and meeting performance expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, market analysis, and competitor insights, informing business decisions and driving future success.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience within the construction or earthmoving equipment industry, or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • A motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a strong understanding of the local market and customer needs.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
