About the Role
Beacon Lighting is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Customer Service and Sales Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail and trade customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Promote and expand our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, identifying opportunities to grow our business.
- Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed lighting choices.
- Achieve and exceed personal sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the store.
- Support other team members to ensure business goals are met, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Contribute to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Support local community and charitable organizations, demonstrating Beacon Lighting's commitment to giving back.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to genuinely connect with customers and colleagues.
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job, driving results and exceeding expectations.
- Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize your work effectively, managing competing demands and deadlines.
- A strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work.
