The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Resident Construction Equipment Sales Representative to join our team in the Goulburn Valley region in Victoria.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships with existing customers within your designated territory
  • Identifying new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting activities
  • Participating in general marketing efforts, trade shows, and networking activities
  • Providing accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market analysis, and competitor intelligence
  • Meting market share expectations and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) provided by management

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven sales experience within the construction or earthmoving equipment industry
  • A genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction as you build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • A motivated and competitive drive to exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and analytical skills to assess value, including proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Confident and effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions
  • A valid driver's license
