About the Role

The YMCA WA is currently recruiting for a casual Customer Service Officer, based at our Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all enquiries, paperwork, sales, customer service and administration pertaining to the centres patrons and members are professionally handled.

Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre, managed by the YMCA WA, provides health and fitness, recreation, sporting and leisure opportunities for the entire community. We create an environment where people are engaged and feel safe, have a strong sense of belonging and ensure our centre is connected with the local community and supporting local initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and members
  • Handle enquiries, paperwork, sales and administration tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the centre team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of centre programs and services

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • National Police Certificate and Working with Children check
  • Friendly and outgoing personality able to interact with patrons of all ages
  • Ability to utilise own initiative and work independently
  • Flexibility in availability including weekends
