Key Role and Responsibilities:The Platform Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring and enhancing our Citrix environments. This role is crucial in ensuring the performance and reliability of our on-premise infrastructure and hybrid cloud resources.You will proactively manage day-to-day operations, resolve issues and contribute to a stable and efficient end-user computing experience for our entire organisation.Responsibilities include:
  • Performing daily checks and maintenance tasks on the Citrix environment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise within the Citrix estate.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure a cohesive and stable IT environment.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of Citrix environments, configurations and changes.
  • Ensuring adherence to security best practices, data protection and licensing requirements within the Citrix estate.
Requirements:This role requires a solid understanding of Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, as well as experience with SCCM and Windows 10/11 image provisioning for AWS WorkSpaces Core and Citrix MCS deployments.Proficiency in user profile management solutions, Windows Server Systems Administration skills, scripting and automation tools are also essential.Experience managing virtual environments using VMware vSphere and EC2 is highly desirable.
