Senior Citrix Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Systems Citrix Engineer to join our specialist support and projects team.

This role is responsible for the technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels, and maintain technical documentation of Citrix environments, including remote support and ad-hoc onsite visits when required.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies
  • Experience supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies
  • Technical skills in:
    • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
    • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration
    • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNowWindows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
    • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
    • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
    • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
