**Casual Medical Position Available**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to work on a casual basis at our clinic in Broadmeadows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary health care services to individuals residing in the Immigration Detention Centre.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To assess, diagnose and treat clients in immigration detention at the General Practice level
  • To provide advice and education to nurses and allied health professionals as necessary or as requested
  • To liaise with all parties involved in the medical management of clients in Immigration Detention

**Requirements:**

  • Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
  • Fellowship of the RACGP or recognition as a General Practitioner
  • Primary Care experience essential
  • Superior clinical decision-making in a busy work environment
  • Live in Melbourne and have full working rights in Australia
  • Current First Aid or BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
