Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, maintaining cash flow, and supporting the Financial Controller with month-end reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Match purchase orders and goods received notes to supplier invoices, investigating discrepancies and obtaining revised documentation as required.
- Obtain approval for non-purchase order expenses before submitting for data entry.
- Scan and submit creditor invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes to TCS for inputting into the ERP system.
- Review TCS data entry for accuracy and ensure no invoices are on hold.
- Reconcile creditor statements monthly and respond to account queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare payment batches weekly and monthly, obtaining authorization and forwarding payment details to TCS for inputting into the ERP system.
- Maintain electronic and paper-based document filing systems.
- Prepare customer remittance advices and bank statements for processing by Genpact.
- Review Genpact's data entry for accuracy.
- Ensure customer collections are within terms, coordinating collection activities between the Sales team and Genpact.
- Conduct weekly reviews with Genpact on their collection activities.
- Print daily bank statements.
- Assist the Financial Controller with month-end reporting tasks, including preparing reports and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and uploading to Blackline.
- Manage office and factory stationery requirements.
- Manage office and factory kitchen requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable.
- Effective organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Oracle and Blackline experience is advantageous.
