Heavy Diesel Fitter

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy diesel equipment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with heavy diesel equipment, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs. You will also be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Australian recognised trade certificate - Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant is essential for this role. Unrestricted rights to work in Australia are also required.

Requirements:
  • Australian recognised trade certificate - Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
  • Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of MEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
  • Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working at Height's RII or willingness to obtain
  • National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
