Key Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild heavy diesel engines to OEM specifications, ensuring precision and attention to detail
  • Assess engine condition prior to rebuild and identify required parts and reclamation needs
  • Operate with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency throughout all processes
  • Utilize precision measuring tools and adhere to OEM technical data to ensure accurate rebuilds
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to achieve turnaround targets and optimize rebuild processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience rebuilding heavy diesel engines, preferably Caterpillar C Series or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent) preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
