About this role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the work placement aspects of our Master of Social Work Qualifying program.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and assess work placements in line with Australian Qualifications Framework standards.
  • Coordinate timetabling and planning processes for work placements.
  • Supervise and mentor staff on assessing work placements, providing training and support as needed.
  • Conduct work-placement assessments, evaluating student performance and progress.
  • Attend placement facilities to supervise and assess students, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
  • Monitor student feedback and participation, making adjustments to programs as necessary.
  • Prepare semester reports detailing student progress and achievements.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, with at least 5 years' experience in the field. A Master's degree in a relevant field is also required.

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in Social Work.
