We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in enhancing our infrastructure, services, and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our IT systems environment, including modern Microsoft technologies.
- Continuously improve our security operations and increase Essential 8 compliance.
- Develop and deliver business-aligned technology roadmaps.
- Oversee and develop a proactive security framework.
- Cultivate relationships with teams and stakeholders.
- Effective leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Systems Administrator.
- Demonstrated hands-on security experience, including Essential 8, XDR, Defender, and SIEM.
- Technical proficiency across the MS stack, including M365, EntraID, and Azure.
- Experience with broader infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Experience securing environments, including firewalls and vulnerability management.
- Experience with project delivery and knowledge of industry best practices, such as ITIL.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
