About the Role

Cubic Transportation Systems (Australia) Pty Limited is now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team. As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a critical role in applying systems engineering principles to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement systems engineering plans, processes, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Lead the development of system requirements and ensure their alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and design documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Support the development of project proposals and business cases to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and methodologies.
  • Experience with systems modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
